This pocket knife opens like a classic folding pocket knife. To close it, you must:
- Push the latch up
- Fold the blade
- Lock the blade by pushing the latch down. The blade is locked and the knife is closed.
Thus, this opening and closing system developed by La Manufacture Claude Dozorme in collaboration with its designer, by revisiting the opening/closing system of the famous Thiers® knife, makes it an original, innovative and unique pocket knife.
In fact, this very safe system perfectly blocks the blade of this pocket knife, in the open or closed position. Please note that all Thiers® knives are manufactured only in the Thiers region, where the Claude Dozorme cutlery is located.
Moreover, Le Thiers® pocket knife blade is made from X50CrMoV15 steel. This very high quality steel gives this pocket knife an excellent cutting performance and it’s very easy to resharpen.
