A tribute to the beginnings of shaving culture as well as to the origins of the Muhle manufactory – the shaving brushes from the Classic line with their traditional, slightly bulbous shape. The Silvertip Fibre® or silvertip badger trimming is handmade. All brush heads feature a fine black band around the shimmering, silver-coloured hair, which connoisseurs and experts alike call a mirror. Times and fashions come and go, but one thing stays the same, namely the fact that a good shaving brush and creamy shaving lather are the beginning of a care ritual in which the hectic pace of everyday life is put on hold for a brief moment. That was true in the past, and it’s still true today.

The Material - Olive Wood

Since ancient times, olive wood has been valued for its outstanding material characteristics and warm colouring. It is to be found throughout the Mediterranean region and has been used for centuries to make durable goods or artistic objects.
The wood we use must be dried carefully for months before the handles are turned. We then sand the surfaces, seal them with oil and polish them to a silky finish. This brings out the gentle, honey-coloured grain of the wood particularly well.

The Brush Head - Silvertip Badger

A tried and trusted classic and the undisputed leader of the natural hair range: silvertip badger is particularly soft and flexible and is exclusively handmade at Muhle. Its silver sheen and a black band around each individual hair, which connoisseurs call a mirror, are noble distinguishing features. Its fine, conically shaped hair absorbs a lot of water and guarantees a dense, creamy lather.
